Lake of the Woods Boatworks is the exclusive manufacturer of the Winnipeg Yawl line of fiberglass, center-console, multi-use boats in 21’ and 23’ lengths for the boating public.
The foundation of each boat is the tried-and-true rough-water hull relied upon for 70 years by commercial fishermen and their families in the unforgiving waters of Lake Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
Our boats are made to order, and generally have a 6-8 week lead time once an order is placed. All our boats
are hand-made by the experienced craftsmen and fishermen who have done it since 1985.
Our Staff
Lake of the Woods Boatworks is a family-owned and operated business specializing in the manufacture of the Winnipeg Yawl Center-Console line of boats. We are family by blood, marriage, and a collective love and enjoyment of boating, Lake of the Woods, and Northern Minnesota. We believe in “the yawl” as a versatile boat for many uses, but especially for those who want to feel safe and comfortable in big, open water – regardless of activity or adventure.
